AccuFind COVID19 Ag is an in vitro diagnostic tests that measures the presence of COVID-19 Ag(SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid antigen) in a person’s nasopharyngeal swab using the immunochromatographic assay and is used as a test for diagnosing coronavirus infection. The test has two pre-coated lines, a Control line (C) and a Test line (T), on the surface of the nitrocellulose membrane. Both the control line and test line in the result window are not visible before applying any specimens. When the specimen is added to sample pad, it moves through the conjugate pad and mobilizes gold conjugates: COVID-19 Ag (Nucleocapsid protein) specific antibody conjugate that is coated on the conjugate pad. The mixture moves along the membrane by capillary action and reacts with anti-COVID-19 Ag that is coated on the test region. If COVID-19 antigen is present, the result is the formation of a colored band in the test region. If there is no COVID-19 antigen in the sample, the area will remain colorless. The sample continues to move to the control area and forms a red or purple color, indicating the test is working and the result is valid. This test is intended for professional use as an aid in the diagnosis of COVID-19 antigen.
